Is ben sheets worth a look?

just curious. i am ready to drop jerry hairston, i think his luck has run out. i will have an open spot on my roster with peavy going on the DL. after scouring the free agent list in my 16 team H2H league there is nothing left that i would run out there with any confidence whatsoever.i just cleaned up sean west and brad bergensen to place on my bench and use later if they keep pitching the way they have been recently. i have a very solid team, both position players and pitching and should make the playoffs with my current lineup ( even better when votto and-i'm going to church for this one-peavy,come off the DL) i was kicking around the idea of adding sheets and seeing what transpires. i guess what i wanted to know was if anyone thinks he is worth sitting on for awhile and wether or not he might be back in time help later on in the fantasy season? other possibilities i am considering are t gwynn jr. or a backup catcher with the best available being carlos ruiz. any opinions will be helpful.
