If he doesn't want want to be in a formal be in a realtionship with you, but still wants all the benefits of being in one (i.e. ) than yeah I would say he is in it for the only. He probably acted offended becuse you figured out his little game. I would just stop talking to this guy.He's just a waste of your time.
