Which books should i read for star trek?

I have seen every episode of Star Trek:The next Generation and its my favorite TV series ever i used to watch it every weekday at 6 until they decided not to so from there everything else i have youtubed. I have also seen the movies Generations,I want to see First Contact, and i have also seen Neimisis.But during the series i was dissapointed that Crusher+Picard never happened and i wanted to read books about the series that involve them after Neimisis. I have heard Death in Winter is a good one and want to get it somehow are there any books after that?if so where could i get them (that isnt ubber expensive?)?(im in California).Also are there any other good series after or before TNG?
