Are there many married women out there who have to put up with their husbands traveling constantly?

I have been happily married for 15 years. We have four wonderful kids, ages 16, 13, 12 and 9. I have always been a stay home mom, so I pride myself on being very independent. The one huge problem in our marriage is that my husband is traveling usually at least all or part of 2 weeks out of the month, leaving me responsible for everything, day in and out. All duties regarding the house, shopping, appointments, taking kids to practices, any emergencies that may come up. I am run so ragged, and so stressed out at the end of the day, I have to have a couple gles of wine, and get myself to bed early enough to try to get a decent rest before I do it all over again. I am not a big whiner or complainer. I appreciate so much that my husband has the job that supports my family's needs. I couldn't get a job even if I wanted to with his unpredictable schedule. It's just too hard to have to be mom & dad so often. I am angry and resentful,and feel like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster
