I Just cleaned out a stuck sewage pump and it is running fine, is there a delay in the shutoff of the pump?

The pump was clogged with an unidentifiable m of something but when I removed the pump, cleaned it out and reset the pump it worked fine. But it did not shut off when the tank was empty. It is used to pump my home waste water from below grade to the city sewer under the street in front of my house and I don't know if there is supposed to be a delay in the shut off or if I screwed up one of the two float switches. I ume the lower one is for the pump and the higher one is for the tank alarm. Any ideas?

What do I do about algae in my 10 gal. aquarium?

I've had it for about 4 yrs. and only cleaned it about once a year. About 5 mo. ago I started getting an almost black algae. The last time I cleaned it, I replaced almost everything in it, filled it up and really doused it with algae killer and let it sit for 3 days. Then I emptied the water added fresh with the recommended amount of algae killer and the other water conditioners. Within 3 weeks the algae was back, so I called the fish store and they recommended snails. At $3.00 a snail I bought 3. One I never saw again. One died and the other is all over the place, but can't seem to catch up. I only keep the light on a couple hours a day after leaving it off for 3 days and covering it with a towel to keep any light out. I was out of town for a month and had a neighbor feeding them when I came home to an almost black aquarium. What happened and how can I stop it?

My name is Bob and this is my story. I am 15 years old and live in New York City. My father is from Colombia and my mother is Guatemala. I however, was born in NYC and lived here all my life. I have a brother named Mike who is 3 years and 8 months older than me. My other brother, who I called Stewart , is about 15 years older than me and was always distant from me. Today Stewart lives back in Guatemala and has a wife and son. I have Richard; another brother who is 17 years older than me and is the oldest out of all of us. Today, he has a wife, a daughter, and another baby girl on the way. He does not a good education and is living at a low budget. Stewart and Richard were both born in Guatemala and came to the United States as teenagers. My father moved out when I was about 4 years old. He moved to my grandma’s place, which was on the same block as my mothers home. Making the distance only a few minutes away. I lived with my father and grandmother for some time until I was 12, then he found his wife and moved out. Since then, I only see him once a week at most. I moved out of my grandmother’s place when I was 13 and soon after Mike moved in. Throughout my early childhood, I spent time with my grandma (fathers mom) who is now 68 years old. She continuously took me to New Jersey and we spent time with the family who loves me. My mother on the other hand is a strong woman. She has always worked ten through twelve hours a day for us. She bought us the freshest clothes and makes sure we live comfortably. My relationship with Mike was good until we both became teenagers. We became more aggressive and violent with each other. Today, we hate each other. He is now 18 and is making up high school credits because he failed Math cles. My mother miraculously convinced him to move back in with us, making my life hell. He has mental issues. He actually takes visits to a Psychologist. Him and me make my moms life hell when we fight. She has had heart problems and had a mini-stroke because of her stress. She cries at random times and I think suffers from nervous depression. However, she does not visit a therapist or medical help she needs. i dont know where to begin. i am 15 with an older sister and 2 parents. ok so i live in a medium sized apartment where we own the house and created it into a two family house...we got the upstairs they, and our neighbors have the down stairs.. the problem is, is the house my mom is a PACK RACK HUGE.. the dinner table is alway full of junk where we cant even eat... the whole house is full of junk that i dont even have a closet. the closets are used for junk. my house has 1 small bathroom, 3 bedrooms 1 big bedroom 1 medium sized and one 6 by 7 bedroom extremely small with no closet! we have a medium sized living room small kitchen small dining room and a play room that is large in length but no more than 6 feet wide in width. the problem is is that there are only 2 doors 1 for the bathroom and 1 for one bedroom. there are no hallways so basically there are just big door entries to every room... the problem is, is that i have a very loud house, where i love to live quiet for homework.. my sister has been very crazy since she was young she likes to fight every minute with my family and i mean scream, and fight, and when she is not fighting she is in the play room on the computer talking with friends and blasting music. my dad is always on the t.v, which is right next to the dining room. my dad made me a desk in the playroom where i can do work but i cant because of the loud house... the loudness comes from... Fighting computer talking, everyday relatives or my sister's friends come over.. I CANT STUDY!!!!!! i dont even have a place to sit down and do my hw because the desk turned out to be a pack rack place for my mom... my parents room is huge but full of pack rack stuff so you cant even get in the room.. my sisters room is meduim and buitiful,, and not noisy at all when you close the door in her room.. but my sis refuses to let me use it when she goes off to college next year. i have never been a big fan of twilight (to say milaldly, i hate it) and im not a fan of romance really either, i do not however think that all vampire novels are bad. i am im currently in the middle of Bram Stokers Dracula and am thouraly enjoying it. whether or not a book with vampires is good depends on what the other elememnts are in the story, as vampires are only one part of it, how well it is written, if there are good characters, if there is a good plot and other things like that are very important and are really the desiding factor in wheather or not a book that has vampires is good.

Lately I have begun to question what traits are due to her autism and which aren't. The only traits she doesn't share are inability to change volume of her voice for long, slow maturity and childish/irresponsible behavior (all play no work unless coerced or bribed)and a very short attention span. Igor the blackbird is looking scraggy?

When we first met Igor the very tame blackbird he was completely bald and we asked on here about it and someone suggested soaking a few of the currents we fed him in TCP. This worked a treat and Igor grew new feathers on his head and looked as good as new. Now 9 months later he is looking grey on his head and the feathers around his neck are gone. I can see the quills on the feathers next to the baldness and it certainly looks like some kind of parasite is eating them away. We have tried the TCP treatment again but its not working anymore so I'm looking for suggestions.

Okay, here's an exercise that was really helpful for me. You stand at the barre, with pointe shoes on, plie with one leg out in second, like the position you hit when doing fouettes. Then you push up onto pointe out of the plie and bring your other leg in to pe, and then roll back down and bring your leg back out to second. Do this three times, then hold the fourth one for two counts. Repeat this eight times. Eventually, when you feel strong enough, turn the hold into a single turn, and then (if you can) into a double. Of course, you have to do it on sides, and remember not to stick your hip out when you put your leg out. Doing it on flat helps too, if you ever want to try it at home. :D Hope this helps

The structure can shred fancy Goldfish's tails very easily. Removing the sharp structure should cure the problem. Instead of the pointy structure, add more plants or other smooth structure.

The advantage to a cage - it's smaller and easier to clean! An inside aviary should be walk in so you can clean it and for bigger birds, more room to spread their wings. I have parakeets in an inside cage, ringneck turtle doves in an outside aviary. Outside I had to be sure the birds were protected by many predators, so that can be a disadvantage, but my doves love the interaction of the mourning doves outside their home and seem to enjoy when the wind blows through, not to mention when they bathe, it's much easier than having to clean up the water they flap out! Purple Robe Locust tree dropping leaves from the top...What's up?

Can you come back from ego loss?

I know this may seem contradictory since I am asking this question and forming some thoughts. But can your ego ever come back after being "turned off". I experienced depersonalization from smoking marijuana and it's like everything crumbled in my brain. I basically lost sense of who I was and everything else. I then started getting into Eastern theology (spirituality) which probably exacerbated my depersonalization making me "one" with everything. Completely eroding my ambitions in life and desires. The Canadian government never did take the time to educate about the temporary Marihuana Medical Access Regulations set by Health Canada .Now however , doctors are prescribing it easier and it can be prescribed for a vast array of ailments like Glaucoma but now even stress relief or insomnia. In comparison to its American counterpart Canada has had a more liberal approach drug use, especially towards marijuana because the use of marijuana is prominent and the majority is non medicinal. European counties however, have been even faster in changing laws regarding marijuana.

if you know the noun cases and in which order they go then the problem arises that the best grammar books can't tell you which noun case to use. It's illogical. It is not easy to know when to use nominative, acc. or gen. But it's not that confusing for your Finnish listener to understand you, just a bit confusing sometimes. Main problem is when you listen FInns talk, it does not seem to make any sense, since the language has such difference between formal written language and spoken language and moreover people have different way of thinking and use different style in which they express things. And of course the verbs are a bit difficult, but nothing too much, but definetely more complex than spanish

Hello there. My car was parked on an unmarked street today, and as I walked away from my car, a tow truck comes up behind it and puts the lift under the tires. I hurry back to my car, and ask what the heck is going on. Apparently, the place where I was parked was a tow zone. The truck operator said that instead of towing it, he could accept $90 cash on the spot. He gave me a receipt for the transaction, but it all felt very shady.. Is this even legal? Who decides how much it is to stop from being towed? I would appreciate any comments from people who have had similar resolved experiences, or have some sort of legal knowledge.
